Liquid Argon-lar
Liquid Argon-lar
Liquid Argon is a transparent, scentless, flavorless, and harmless gas belonging to the rare gas family. It remains tasteless and extremely frigid, with no documented chemical interactions. This gas is approximately 1.38 times denser than air and exhibits slight solubility in water.
In the atmosphere, Argon is found at a concentration of 0.93%. Extraction occurs through an Air Separation Unit (ASU), where it is collected as a cryogenic liquid at around -303°F. Following extraction, Argon can be distributed either as a cryogenic liquid or as a gas in cylinders.

Safety Information:
Argon, being an inert gas, induces oxygen depletion, leading to asphyxiation and potential fatality. The peril escalates due to its density surpassing that of air, facilitating its descent and accumulation in lower regions, distant from the leakage source. As Argon is not consumed in any process, it may accumulate in exhaust streams, posing a risk of high concentration. In welding operations, Argon usage can fill tanks and vessels under construction, posing asphyxiation threats. In its liquid state, Argon poses a frostbite hazard. Purity levels available range from 99.95% to 99.9997%.
